Eaglebrands plastered that post all over social about the total wines in Miami having coffee, waited with 20 people for 2 hours, no coffee. Asked them why and they just deleted my posts and blocked me, wtf

In Miami Milam's in the Grove got a case of regular, coffee and bw. Downstairs on LeJune got 2 cases of regular and 1 of coffee and bw. Both stores with a 1pp of each.

Down here for Thanksgiving. Mission accomplished

We have a beer scene here in Miami but not one that would see a line 75 people deep at 5am, or see people doing things like lining up in 2 degree fahrenheit weather at 12AM for it like they do in Massachusetts and NY.

My advice would have been to just show up when they open, which would have been fine this morning with one exception -- unless you were in line 1 hour before opening time, you would be missing out on the best release that made it to South FL as I just did, the coffee stout.

I believe the Total Wine stores here got 1 case each of the coffee (9 per case?). Some maybe had two cases. Unless you were in line at least an hour before they opened, you would only be able to get the stout and barleywine, and just 1 bottle each at that. The other lesser-known beer stores like Milam's still apparently had people lining up as early as 5AM.

To add my own two cents in... Bourbon County was great as a somewhat accessible beer you could pick up in a 4-pack and periodically enjoy on your own at a reasonable 12oz pour, especially since you could grab a few of them and have enough to easily pseudo-cellar over time. It was fun to have one or two early on when they were fresh (and IMO overly boozy), then have them a year or two later where they really start to shine and become noticeably better beers. There are already plenty of excellent bigger bottle format stouts. Now BC isn't nearly as accessible (1 bottle per person vs. 4-pack, all sold out at every store in Miami before noon) and not in quite a small format (12 vs. 17oz), so it's lost some of the draw it had for me. I casually picked up several stouts/barleywines from the 2013 and 2014 releases and really regret not buying more of them. On the other hand, drinking less beer is not necessarily a bad thing (hello calories) and I'm sure there are plenty of other breweries putting out good 12oz stouts who I should be paying more attention to. This isn't a complaint by any means, just my own little observation I felt like sharing

If the orange label is coffee then Total Wine in Town and Country got some. I was there when one guy had the barleywine and stout and I guess asked for the coffee and one of the guys went back and got it

I wouldn't be surprised if Pinecrest also got a case of coffee, but kept it in the back and didn't announce it. They were selling BA ten fidy earlier in the week for $12 a can and today they jacked the price to $15. manager always seemed like an a-hole to me, so who knows

Not that I blame you but there just seems something wrong with Illinois residents hitting up FL stores for BCBS considering the limited quantities that are down there. I remember reading that regular was available all over including Walgreens and Costco in IL, but i guess like everywhere else you gotta be in the right place at the right time.

I'm pretty sure it's just a total wine thing. They seem to be the only places that got a drop and it seems to only be in Florida.

It was a special TW thing, only a few stores in the state got it, don't stress yourself out driving around looking for it.
