I'm going to be out of Chicago for Thanksgiving this year for the first time in a while - will be in St Louis. How is the Bourbon County release there? Are there generally places you can find it and some of the variants and do they have any info on it yet? I'm staying near Brentwood.

There will be a lot of stores selling it all over the city. If you are staying in Brentwood, best bets are schnucks, dierbergs and total wine.

I usually do the Tour de Schnucks. There are at least a dozen within 20 minutes of Brentwood that will have BCBS and variants. Last year it was a case limit on the reg so shouldn't be too difficult for you. Start at the Richmond Heights and Ladue schnucks would be a good plan

If you are going to be in St. Louis then just get a ticket for Beer Barrel Time and pick that up on Black Friday for a better beer? Just my opinion

I dont recall BBT being that easy. Seemed to sell out within a few minutes online.

I don't remember it being too difficult and it looks like it lasted 30 mins according to Twitter so not too long.

Craft Beer Cellar will not have BCBS, they won't touch anything AB Inbev. Not sure about hop shop but I think it's the same.

That's not entirely accurate. They special order a good amount of Bud Light, Ultra, etc for customers, but they don't exactly go advertising it.

I’m in the same situation as OP, coming from Chicago to STL. I’ve called around a bit and most places “don’t know” what variants they’re getting but none of them specifically said all. Here’s what each place told me:

Schnucks Webster: open at 6, they start selling at 7. Two regulars and one variant pp.

Schnucks Brentwood: wasn’t sure what they have or what their policy is, but they think the other, bigger schnucks will have more than them.

Friar tuck Watson rd, total wines Brentwood, and Randall’s: two regulars, one variant.

Does anyone know any stores with either a full selection of variants or allowing people to buy one of each variant? Anyone have a strategy for getting multiple variants?

    See y’all Friday morning!

@brian3000 Any luck finding a store with full allotment of variants?

    Looking to revive this thread.

Any reports from last year? I have called around to a few places (Randall's, Total wine) and no one knows what they are getting in stock. Looking to get 1 of everything I can (not looking to get multiples). I would like to purchase it myself if I can, otherwise will end up trading for variants I can't find. Any input about how TWCP or Gezelig were last year? Has anyone been anywhere that had a line?

Thanks in advance for the input.

Went to Gezellig last year. Lined up about 30min or an hour before they opened (can't remember) and there were probably about 30-40 people in front of me. They allowed us to buy one regular and one variant, by the time they got to me I think they only had Wheatwine and Bramble left. Best part was they had regular and bramble on tap so you could start your day out right
