I'm traveling for Thanksgiving this year. Anybody know where I can find Goose Island Bourbon County between Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte.
Total Wines will have all 4 variants that are being distributed nationwide. ABC may have all as well but the ones near me (Sarasota) only had the regular and barleywine last year. Last year was my first year living down here and it was much easier to find these bottles than it was when I lived in Chicago. Last year Total Wine in south Sarasota the limit was 3 reg, 1 coffee and 1 barleywine.
ABC is only getting regular and barleywine again this year. Total Wine and Leukins are the only ones at least in Tampa Bay getting the other bottles. Leukins in Tampa is saying they aren't getting the other bottles. I suspect they're just holding them for other people.
I follow a few stores on IG in other areas of the US... It looks like the quantity for Northwoods is much greater than coffee and barleywine... I'm just hoping to get my hands on 1 of each and would be delighted if I could get 2 per.
Going to be in Brevard county for the black Friday release and the ABC in Cocoa Beach on the north side of where the beach road splits off into one way alway has a great selection without many beer geeks picking over it. Last year I was able to get 3 BCBS and was the first person to buy any over an hour after opening. They also have other gems sitting on the shelf there which habe been long gone back i Tampa. BA Ten Fidy, Last Buffalo in the Park and CCB Penultimate Push and vanilla hazelnut Zhukov. This year I've decided to first start at the Total Wine in Melbourne to see if I can land some other BCBS variants. Does anyone else have any experience with the TW in Melbourne specifically on black fridau for rhe GI BCBS release??
Does anybody have a guess on when to get to total wine Tampa tomorrow? I plan on going around 730, I just don't want to miss out on variants if possible but am not getting in line before 630 either....so maybe just if I have a hope in hell?
TW Kendall and Pinecrest got Reg, Coffee, Barleywine, and Northwoods. Went to the Kendall one and they must of had a case of Northwoods max if that, sold out within what looked like the first 15-20 people in line. I got there as the store opened so didnt get a Northwoods, only 2 regulars. They had tons of the reg.
I’m in Northern VA for the holiday and they got it up here too. Well, reported that it’s here. I didn’t get any.
TW was charging $29.99 for Reserve. Luckily I had a 10% off beer coupon which brought it down to $26.99.
I was at the Total Wine in Naples on Sunday, they had 14 cases of regular on the floor, limit 4 ($10.99). I asked the guy if they got variants and he said no, only at the Ft. Myers location for that part of the state. FWIW.
The Total Wines in Broward county seem to have a bit of the regular left...bought a case yesterday at the Plantation store...Cordova and Pembroke still have some....Coral too...havent seen any variants...
