    I'm surprised at this point a bar hasn't announced that they'll be hosting the Wednesday night tasting event my guess is that it will be bukowskis

    I'm not as stout crazy as others, but BCBS is still tops for me in the dark game. I have had some others that come close (Clown Shoes), but every year I try to get as many variants as possible and at least 2 4 packs of the normal.

    no in line bottle sharing/tasting:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:....... was at this years Dark Lord day and the sharing/tasting in line was fantastic! amazing beers

    Anyone know if variants are expected in other parts of the state on Black Friday or is it just a total crap-shoot? I'll be near Hartford over Thanksgiving and curious how far I'll need to travel to hunt for variants.

    Stoddard's tweeted/FB earlier today that they will have BCBS on draft, Wednesday, 11/26.

    Stoddards is the only account in Boston that will be allowed to pour it Wednesday. The location listed on the Goose website for that is wrong.

    Event is at Stoddards in downtown Boston on Wednesday night. Only one in Boston before the Black Friday release.

    has anyone heard anything about other bottle shops (besides Kappy's) selling BCBS or variants on Black Friday?

    if Stoddards is exclusive, my fear is that Kappy's on Friday will be as well

    No cambridge location? Buk's seems like the only bar in that location that would serve those beers but they are still doing renovations.

    my only hope is that Kappy's doesn't get such a massive allocation that a whole bunch of other shops get screwed. I was able to buy variants last year without too much problem but if Kappy's gets 500 bottles of Vanilla...well that means a bunch of other stores get none or less. and I don't really feel like a shitshow on Black Friday at 7am to buy beer
