They go quick basically everywhere. I bough at 3 shops last year. 2 aren't heavy on the radar and 1 is a place most BA dare not set foot in. All were out of the variants within hours. Certain small local shops and also shops that aren't known for craft but move Inbev products like crazy are the first places I go. I'm not the only one with this attack plan.

 

That's exactly the plan I have. I know shops that had a lot of BCBS and barleywine on shelves until September...hoping those are my ticket. Not sure how early in the morning they stock the shelves at those places.

 

I'm new up here but I can say that places in Miami had 4 packs of the stout and barleywine for several months.

If variants hit the shelves they were gone immediately, I never saw them.

I had them all and the most notable was the coffee stout which I'm hoping to be able to find up here in Boston this year.

I just had some of my '13 BCBS standard stout from my cellared stash and a year definitely helped smooth it out a bit. Fresh, I thought it was just another overly boozy barrel aged stout, of which there are plenty on store shelves year round.

 

BCBS and BCBW are everywhere today. Found Coffee and the Vanilla Rye at one store. Probably still have some coffee as they were selling them 2 bottles per customer. Would imagine the Vanilla Rye is gone.

 

Today? Where in Mass?

 

I found BCBS, BCBBW, and BCBVR on Sunday in Mass. They are long since out of vanilla but still had plenty of the others.

Personally unless I happen upon it, I'm just going to wait until Black Friday to look.

 

Not sure what you mean by that, but there are no rules saying you can't say where one can purchase beer by naming the store.

As an FYI...that was the same price for the BCBS and BCBBW 4-packs.

 

23.39 is what I saw it for as well (bombers and 4-packs).

 

$24.95.

Other bottles were $6.95.

State Street in Northampton had BCBS and BW
Coopers had the best selection Coffee, Vanilla Rye, BCBS, BW
