I would buy 17 Prop for $30, though that is just me since I really liked last year's Prop. Anyone that gets that as their mystery bottle and doesn't want it I will gladly reimburse you $30 for a Prop 17.

I would not be surprised if VR was in the mix of mystery bottles.

This would be my worst case scenario.

Lets note that it does say "mystery bottle" and not mystery bottles. I don't think they want to jam up the line of people picking up their beers by having them sit and think about which of 5 vintage/variants they want.

or or...it is literally a mystery bottle. A rando covered something for $30. No choice you just take it or you don't.

It probably will be a true mystery bottle that you don’t find out until you open the bag or something. And I’ll end up with a Cooper Project beer.

I took the "mystery bottle" as kind of like DLD Random Variant. Like hopefully they have a bunch of totes lined up and random vintages already in them if you pay $100 for the mystery bottle.

My guess was Rare, but that retailed for $60-70, so my second guess is Prop 17... I’m group 1 will post when I find out.

I can’t imagine they would be cutting their profits in half by offering $30 2015 rare when it retailer at $65??

My guess, not that it matters, is a truly random draw that is a mix of moderately priced bottles non coffee/non bw bottles (northwoods/regal/16/17 prop, etc) with a few “golden ticket” vintages (vr/13/14 prop, etc) as surprises. Already bagged up like DLD. Hence the buy all or nothing noted in the initial release details.

anyone know anything about how the new Prop compares to Big John (besides the obvious barrel aging difference). Have two old bottles of Big John in the cellar...

I walked by Goose on Tuesday and saw them filling the bags and now I wish I had looked just a little harder.

I'm thinking it's going to be reserve 2018. $30 seems in line and it gives the prop day winners an option to get one of the most hyped up variants this year. Especially since it will be hard to attain black Friday.

I’d be very happy with that as a surprise

It’s much sweeter and less roasty. I liked it quite a bit, but it’s not BA Big John.

Does anyone know if they usually have the Bears game on somewhere? Otherwise can I bring a tablet and wifi's and people will huddle around me for warmth and Bear Down celebrations?

Question for the group who’s been there. I am looking to do a trade before hand and would be bringing some beer in a backpack in. Is this something that is allowed?
