Bourbon County Prop Day 2018

Forbidden Root is so great. There’s also On Tour and All Rose nearby. On Tour has a lot of styles including imperial stouts and barley wines, and has a cool greenhousey vibe in my opinion. All Rise is like a brewery for punks and bikers... not sure if they’re open on Sundays tho

The Great Lakes forum's goal of being helpful once a year has been met. Now back to our normal programming.

 

Ironically, Prop actually *did* kick last year at Prop Day. But you pretty much needed to microwave your pours for a few seconds to get a real taste of them -- the 2017s were served cold and it was a cold day.

 

So, I won the lottery but just found out I'm not going to be able to make the drive up from Tennessee that weekend. I haven't registered yet (24 hours left). Can I forward my email to a friend who lives up there and let them register and attend using their name?

 

Worst case scenario, they’ll be able to register themself as the guest.

I'd be really surprised if the "winner" could transfer his/her ticket. That would turn this thing into even more of a crazy collectible Max Profitz endeavor than it already is and there would be no reason for anyone not to enter knowing they could sell it to a "friend."

 

Anyone remember when the link to buy tickets for Rare day allowed anyone to buy tickets (as long as someone who won shared the link).

It’s very also worth a shot to have someone try and collect his ticket at the gate of they have nothing better to do.

Last year they checked ID to get into the gates (just for age) but once in you moved to another station go pick up your glass/tokens/package, which was in a sealed envelope with your name, but they did not check ID’s there or do any cross reference.

It’s very possible they change that this year, so it’s in the best interest to be ok being turned away, it’s better than having the ticket go to waste at 100% certainty.
