She wins, she's still his guest, on his ticket. But she has her own ticket, and her own guest also. So you could bring a 3rd person as her guest. You wouldn't get the 4 you would deserve for winning two tickets, but you'd get 3 at least.

I'd imagine if you have two winners they may let you change your guest, though.

On the Universe website they use for tix, there is an option to edit tickets. So you should be able to change guest name. I actually called GI last week as the checkout process was confusing wjen entering guest name info. Customer service for GI was wonderful so I wouldnt hesitate to call them if youre unsure.

If she is a round 2 winner, she gets a guest.

Maybe they're actually reading what people wrote in the boxes and whoever had a great story or poem *cough, me, cough* gets a ticket...

I'd have to assume that they won't let one person be both a guest on one person's ticket and then have their own ticket as well. But, who knows if their logic for looking for duplicates works that way. Also, if they let you change guest name's this is all a moot point. We'll see what happens if/when a second round of winners are announced.

Been trying to avoid this, as I don't want to encourage shit-lording, but...I seem to recall this discussion last year, and people saying that they indeed had both themselves and their SO win, and that they could be each other's guest, resulting in 4 total allotments. No idea if that's the case but...seems to be what I recall. The number of people this pertains to is probably small, but...

Right, but then they'd have to let you change your guest. Otherwise there are still tickets unclaimed, basically, as the SO/guest who now won their own ticket won't be able to claim that winning ticket, as they're already a guest.

Basically, from the way I see it, their only option is to allow someone to change their guest, so that the winner of the second ticket can claim their own, and their own guest.

That makes sense to do it that way, but they may not care about unclaimed tickets this time around. They know there will be some unclaimed tickets regardless, so I could see them not caring.

If they would just send out the second round of e-mails, at least to me, we could end all this speculation.

Yep. I imagine we'll see an announcement if/when they send them.

I mean, if they didn't care about unclaimed tickets, they wouldn't have tweeted that out in the first place. They'd just say to hell with it, and have those who claimed them come, and those who missed them... they're SOL.

This was the same issue last year when they upfront said they would do round two. They cross-referenced the list of guests to winners to be sure no duplicates. I'm sure that's not an infallible process, but not all that complicated and probably good enough.

Edit: i.e., all the hypothetical stuff being discussed above is likely moot

Heard from a good source that there is precious little Prop this year and that as a result they released 500 fewer Prop Day tickets this year compared to 2017.

Is that because they gave 1000 extra to Binny's LP so every allotment has 2?

there is zero percent chance this is true. they make more BCS every single year. They arnt going to randomly turn down the opportunity to make a higher profit just to make sure there was enough for 2 each at binnys.

They make more regular. They haven't increased production of the variants.

Ok. So they made MORE variants but they don't specifically make that much more of a single one. I was there when they were making Prop this year. It was a tanks worth of beer running through some very expensive chocolate. They then ran it on the bottling line for one day. So how much more do you think there could really be?

You heard it here first. JPlachy, renowned beer writer announces GI makes MORE Brewing's variants...

What did they do with the leftover chocolate? Will we see Prop Chocolate Bars at Prop Day?
