Giving ample time for the folks to grab bottles at one spot and rush out to the next! Dumbest idea ever.

I expect hours deep lines at each location and many getting shut out.

Very helpful, thank you! I do have a few questions though. Do you know what time the Fooderies will be doing the release? And are they going to have all 4 variants available?

Foodery just posted on twitter their Black Friday BCBS schedule. They'll have regular, coffee, barley wine and vanilla.

    Roxborough location - 8 am
Center City location - 9 am
Northern liberties location - 10 am
    Rittenhouse location - 11 am

Mtnsoup, chances are if you are not "in" with anyone in PA, you will be well behind all of their regular customers.

Or he can just go to any of the Foodery locations?

Looks like foodery beat me to it. I would say this is your best chance of getting all 4 Variants. Coffee and Vanilla rye are the most limited this year.

    So...you're telling me there's a chance!

I'll have some buddies working on hooking it up here in CO, but I'll give it a go in Philly. I'm staying in Bryn Mawr, so holding hope a spot like the Beer Yard in Wayne also has allocation.

I'm also going to bring out a bunch of beers from CO for Thanksgiving if anyone wants to trade anything (or just drink) on the Main Line.

Well, I unfortunately frequent the foodery in rittenhouse, often don't buy anything because I'm not a bank robber, but I've also never seen what it is like on black friday but I imagine if you were there early you could get in line and grab a couple bottles.

I wouldn't underestimate the amount of people that will be trying to score bottles to give as gifts to their beer drinking family and friends. That is what people do on black Friday no?

If last year is any indication, all variants will be well stocked at every specialty beer retailer in the city for Black Friday. Some places will even see a second round of all variants; all places will see a few extra rounds of BCBS. Your ability to stock up is limited only by how many places you care to visit that day.

Spoken like someone who has experienced it. Sounds good. Thanks!
