He does have an awful lot but it was certainly possible to obtain a case of BCBS from some liquor stores.

Not sure about KH but Vanilla was released a couple years ago and it wasn't as difficult to find. Bramble was released wider and in quantity in places that you wouldn't expect. I found 6 bottles sitting on a shelf in the middle of Indiana way after the release. As for Rare I don't know how fast it sold out but it was pretty expensive. It may have been on the shelves long enough to find a case.

I just had BCBS on tap for the 5th consecutive night. VERY disappointed in my fellow N suburban BA's. We should have taken care of this tap in one night.

I missed you there. I got there at like 5:30 and was able to get my two glasses and that fantastic cajun steak sandwich. Two glasses was enough for me. BCBS is not low in alcohol.

What did bourbon county sell for last time it was on the shelves? I'm pretty sure it was not 10 dollars a bottle. That seems to be a pretty big downside to the tap only release. Looks like most bars are charging 10 dollars for a 12 ounce or even only a 10 ounce pour

When the 2011 batch was released in bottles it was ~$20 for a 4-pack. Maybe a dollar or two more, but right around there.

More in the $6/bottle range. I did see as high as $10, but that wasn't the norm

I want to say it was $22.99 for a 4-pack and $5.99 per bottle at Binny's. I think we all knew that there would be a pretty good markup on draft, just as with every other beer. On the plus side it's (in theory) easier to purchase, because you have a window of 1-5 days or longer when it's available per establishment.

What does this usually go for on tap. Is 12 for a 10 oz pour crazy?

Paid $6.99 for a few, but $9.99 for more (even $13.99 for 2 at armanettis, which can rot in hell). A lot of the places that charged $6/btl sold too quick for me to get there

Anyone hear if Fischman's tapped their BCBS keg? I got an email from them about 2 weeks ago that said it was tapping soon, and never did hear anything more.

Tap house grill in highwood. It lasted somewhere between 7-12 days incredibly. I'm at GI Wrigleyville right now letting my snifter warm up a bit before partaking in the bourbony goodness.
