Bourbon County Stout--Philadelphia

I'll add to this a bit instead of making a new thread. Anyone know the GI distributors in the PA area overall? Specifically looking for the Lehigh Valley, so Shangy's? Stockertown?

Would also be interested in splitting a case with anyone who can get one, or if I can, given the $ and all of 24 bottles...

 

Any one want to split a case of fou'foune? I'll gladly take half or all if you don't want it. Seriously good luck, but as hard as that stuff is to land, most people will trade it away if they get a whole case. You'd be lucky as hell to find someone who will sell you half of their case.

 

If I get FOUR cases...I'm not trading a bottlle. I went through 3 cases of the 2011 release. Love that stuff. That's drinkin' beer.

 

It's distributed by Penn here in Philadelphia I believe. They've the ABInBev distributor.

 

im curious to see what the bottle shop markup will be on these. of course, i want a case (or half) as well, but i feel like that's a long shot at best.

i just heard from one of the guys at whole foods devon this will be draught only in philly. i also called shangys they have no clue

 

I've heard word that it'll be draught only too...this time. As the program expands we'll in all likelihood see bottles too. I'm fine just having the chance to have it on tap at a few places.

 

I had 2 pours at St Stephens Green last Thursday. I guess it must of been the 2011 batch? They still had some as of 2 days ago according to phillytapfinder

 

Kicked at St. Stephens. Tapped yesterday at Bishops and very likely still pouring. Still on at Kraftwork as of yesterday, but that one very likely kicked. I should have an update today.

 

It'll be on at Blue Dog Tavern in Lansdale as of Sept. 29th.

 

If you can find a case I'll gladly split it with you.

 

I heard first week of October.

 

there was an initial handful of sixtels that penn recieved last month. Some of which have not been tapped by the bars that got them. Sometime in october, but not sure when, they will get some more kegs and some cases. Im not sure of how many , but more than 50 cases. However, that is for 2 counties, so there wont be tons of it around. I would guess a case or two for the highest volume goose island beer distributors and the rest of the cases going to the bottle shops

 

Borrowing this thread a bit. Anyone know when/where Marshal Zhukov will hit Philly? Asked the lady at beer heaven and she said this week or next...

 

Ale house on 20th said next week for Marshal Zhukov. She also said BCBS tomm, but dont hold her to it.
