Yeah work 10 min away and asked for 2 weeks for bcbs and month and a half for btac with never a mention of a list. Van winkle 12 at double msrp isn't a deal whatsoever. Poorly run and will shop closer to home. Walked into a place by me in Kearny NJ and got a bottle of BCBS never having shopped there before. Spent over $1000 at least at Bourbon Street

Anyone looking for regular should just head to Westchester. Tripping over it in some stores up here. No variants of any kind though.

There is something seriously wrong with people following trucks to get beer. When In-Bev fired a shot across the bow of craft drinkers during the Super Bowl, many were up in arms. Now with this release the suits at the top there must be laughing their assess off at how the craft beer masses chase after their beer.

Anyone chasing a truck is pretty pathetic.

Yeah, but they're the ones laughing along with the big execs while the majority isn't laughing so much, or are they.... Depends on the outlook, but I get what you're saying.

I called yesterday to ask if there were any bottles that hadn't already "been spoken for" (since the other 2 bourbon streets i stopped at told me yeah we have like 9 bottles left but you can't have any since "its spoken for")

The girl was like, no and I won't add you the list either - I said, I don't want to add my name to the list - I want to know if I can buy a beer - which you have a case of, as we speak - now?!?!?

F them and their lists. I agree Bourbon Street Wine & Spirits can suck it.

Called Wegman's in Lawrenceville and they said they had it in the store. 1 bottle per as someone mentioned in earlier post. Drive 30 minutes to get there and asked for it at the counter. I was told that it was locked up in the manager's office and that the manager wouldn't be back until Thursday. "Someone" will be able to open the door at some point but they didn't know when.

The entire time I was driving there I was thinking I might miss out because someone bought the last one and if that was the case then so be it, but really? The manager left and the BCBS is in their office and it's locked up? BS and I'm really disappointed with Wegman's especially since I called earlier to verify if they had it in the store.

I was told "it is what it is" and if I don't like it, I can complain to the manager. I rarely get pissed at stores for the way they handle things but this to me is inexcusable. Locked up and the manager isn't there and it is what it is...that's really nice.

Neither Binghamton, Syracuse or Ithaca has seen variants at all. If they do come I'm sure it will be scarce.

Anyone know if the GI rep will be having any other events similar to what Top Hops or Carmine Street had?

That's about how I felt today it's almost like these stores just don't care no more large or small. I guess they just feel losing someone doesn't matter to them the next 20 suckers will line up for what you don't buy.

I read about your experience today. That's very unfortunate considering you are such a regular in that store. I would not consider myself a regular at the store I went to today but I'm there enough where I felt I deserved better. I have dropped plenty of money in there over the years.

I'm a little butt hurt right now but I ended up going to the Joe Canal's around the corner to ease my pain. Found a couple of beers that I haven't seen more local to me and got some Enjoy By. The trip was not a total loss and I got an early Christmas present from my wife although I can't open it until Christmas - a nice bottle of scotch I wanted. Although I missed out at Wegman's on the BCBS, it is their loss and Joe Canal's gain as we dropped about 2 beans there.

I really didn't want to get aggravated over BCBS this year but I am a little bit. I just keep telling myself that it's just beer. That's all it is. Hope you are able to score some BCBS, man. If you decide to ditch that store, it's their loss as well. Plenty of other places that will treat their customers better.

Found BCBS and BW at Garden Wine & Liquor in Hoboken. Selling for 11.99 I believe. This was on Saturday night and only saw a few BW left but there was pretty much a full case of BCBS just sitting out in the open so worth a shot if your looking (no limit).

I'm sure they are gone at this point but if anyone has seen any variants around the hoboken area let me know!
