I called to report mine and they gave me nothing other than "well we just felt that the end product wasn't at the level at which we were hoping for."

 

St Gambrinus has Regal Rye bottles, only to stay though at $36 (same with 15 Abraxes $38).

 

You know the NYC beer scene is pretty awesome when a BCBS night at RnH doesn't draw any more people than a regular Tuesday night. 2013, 2014 and 2015 BCBS, Regal Rye, 2015 Coffee and 2015 BW flowing like water. Small crowds, go get um! Probably last all week. Great opportunity to try all these beers in small quantities in one place.

 

Dude, thanks for the reminder! Totally forgot about this event, work right around the corner, will be enjoying a really delicious lunch tomorrow :-)

 

Enjoy! Menu lists 8 ounce pours, but they will also do 4 ounce flights.

 

Don't think this has been asked (tried to skim the last few pages) - has anyone received their refund from GI yet? I was told 2-3 weeks on the phone, but clearly been longer than that.

 

Or has anyone sent the required info to the email address and received anything back regarding it?

 

Most variants made it a week at Beer Authority a few weeks ago, though the Regal Rye went pretty quick.

 

I wasn't asked to give anything to an e-mail; they took all of my information over the phone. Am I missing something?

 

Interesting, i was asked to send my mailing address and phone number and some proof of payment if i had it.

 

I provided my info on the phone including how much I paid, but they didn't ask me to send a receipt.

 

This is all discussed in the refunds thread, but I'm pretty sure they only ask for receipt/proof of purchase if you're claiming over $100. Just to add to the discussion here though, I called 2 weeks and haven't heard anything since, but I don't really expect to hear for a while - these things take time.

In other news, Carmine Street Beers had '13 BCBBW today, limit 2 per person. Not sure if there's any left, but I grabbed 2 just after noon.

 

Got my $100 check from GI in the mail today...

 

Still waiting. No check and no shirt yet.

I filed my claim on 1/17...

 

Most seem to have gotten a shirt first, check later. Got a check yesterday for $100 – 4X the purchase price of the 2 bottles of BCBBW I bought – but still no shirt. I don't care if one ever shows up now. If one does, I'll send it back.
