Just giving people a heads up. Heroes and Legends in Claremont tapped Bourbon County Vanilla on Monday. I do not know if they still have it but call and see $10 for a snifter. I wasnt able to score a bottle so this was amazing finding it on draft.

Here's a question, why is Vanilla Rye popping up all over SoCal the last couple weeks? Are we finally getting our allocations? Just curious if anyone knows and also thankful I was able to try it on tap in downtown SD a couple weeks back.

Tapped out at heroes last night, FYI. Anyone else know of any others tapping a keg around SoCal?

Heads up the Republic bar in covina is tapping a keg on tuesday. Saw it on my instagram feed. 7 p.m. Vanilla and barelywine. I wish I didn't have work but at least others can enjoy it.

These Inbev-friendly bars that get Vanilla Rye.... they've probably never seen a hoard of beer geeks in their life.... it must be pretty shocking.

I know for a fact that some places are holding onto kegs. I don't want to drop a name yet but a place in OC has one in the back and they are just waiting on their expansion to open so they can tap it (that might give some of you a hint as to where it is).

Anybody hear about Hay Merchant in Houston today? For the record, the bottles are sealed and available to-go.

Wow, those are the best prices I've ever seen on bourbon county products! It's great to see there are still bars that don't take even a little bit advantage of their customers...

Once its ready I'll share. There is literally no reason to even talk about right now until they are ready to pop the keg.

Been meaning to let Bay Area people know that I stopped to get a diet coke at Fred's Liquor in the Tenderloin the other day and they had the vanilla rye for $32.99/bottle. About a dozen bottles on the shelf. They also had four-packs of coffee and barley wine for $32.99.
