what are folks trading for this one nowadays? when it was first released, i traded for 4 bottles fairly easily, drank 1, and traded away the other 3 (including one in a Secret Santa). obviously the value has gone up but there still seems to be a lot of bottles out there based on # of Gots here and on Ratebeer. it's the last one i need to complete my Bourbon County set so i'd like to have an idea of what this one has been changing hands for.

I traded one 1:1 for a King Henry. Another trading partner traded one of his 1:2 for King Henrys.

I also traded one straight up for a BA Yeti.

About a year ago, I kept finding them for reasonable prices in Europe. Scored one in London for $23 for onside consumption and another in Copenhagen for $20 to go. How did they end up there? No idea.

I traded a BCBVS straight up for CFH '12. I think both parties were happy!

I think you'd have to add a bit.

I got my BCBVS+ for an Oberon Mini-Keg about a year ago. Then again that was right before the value skyrocketed.

Any thoughts on if a vanilla could land 2x BCBCS?

Id say you most likely could. You may have to add some locals or something else kind of small, but that should get done.

I remember trading a BA Blackout 2010 (bomber) 1-1 for a BCBVS. Ugh, those were the days. At this point I'd trade 3-4 12 oz 2012 BA Blackouts for one BCBVS.

I didn't like it much when it came out (not a big vanilla/beer fan), so I traded it for a 375ml Consecration. Of course, that was over a year ago and to a good friend, so ... whatever. I was happy at the time.

This thread makes me wish I could have afforded more at the time!

JUST received a box yesterday of 5 town hall BA bottles, in my return box was a BCVanilla, CBS, KH, Uberliner, and some kaberts. both parties were pretty happy.

prior to that, included one in a package deal to get a BA Speedway and I BIF'ed one out a few months ago.

i was never really a fan of that beer, too much vanilla for my tastes.
