If they make a solid product, what's wrong with buying from InBev?

I've heard/read that rumor but have no idea how valid it is. I'd love to hear some more concrete evidence. It would be sooooo nice to be able to trade other off the shelf beers to be able to get my BB stout fix.

There is supposedly a January batch. The only reason I know this is because WA never got its allotment and some distributors were told there was more coming at the beginning of the year.

I "liked" your post but for some reason it makes me cringe. I want to take a shower and wash my mouth out with soap for "liking" it. Ewwww...

For the same reason I don't stockpile blood diamonds.

I though you didn't stock pile them because you spend all your extra money on beer like the rest of us?

Because they poison an otherwise pure source of joy and good. They even prompted Laffler to leave.

I love when someone asks and answers a question in the same sentence, even if that sentence is a grammatical nightmare.

Not buying beer from InBev cleanses you from doing things like using gasoline and petrochemicals that require an actual effort and commitment on the part of the morally outraged. It is the lazy man's way to protest corporate greed. It allows one to feel all good about moral certitude without requiring one to make any change in a lifestyle of conspicuous consumption that routinely uses products harming the environment/economy and are made by slave/child labor.

Had one bottle of it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely fucking incredible. Completely lives up to all the hype. It is a daily struggle in my life not to open the remaining bottle I have aging. Try the beer and you'll definitely see what the fuss is about. What Pliny is to IPAs, BCBS is to bourbon aged stouts.

If InBev leaves BC alone what has changed for the consumer? Except better availability, and that's a bad thing? You can dislike InBev buying stuff up, but if they buy craft and leave it alone no harm is done.

Bourbon County is so desirable because it's ridiculously delicious, not sure where the confusion lies.

Let's see, you asked about a beer you have never tasted, why it gets so much hype. Umm, did it deserve the praise it gets? What's your opinion? Oops, that requires a taste of it. So, exactly what kind of answer were you expecting? Since you haven't tasted the beer no matter what answer anyone gave to your addled question would have been meaningless to you.

I do my best not to pick on grammar errors, but yours was such as massive fail, in so many ways, I just couldn't help myself, and I apologize.

Oh. Well then if hippies don't want to drink Bourbon County Stout so it can align with their agenda that's fine. More for me.
