Does anyone know of any Bourbon Hellfighter tappings happening before the end of the month? I'd love to be able to take a growler of it back to Kentucky when I visit.
Last and only time I've heard of fills were at Hay Merchant for the Karbach Growlers. Haven't heard of any trappings anytime soon.
Petrol does the fills for them when they have on tap, If Hay merchant has it they won't fill a growler because they want to share the wealth.
Rockwell Tavern in Cypress, TX tapped theirs Friday evening. Tried it last night and it was epic! Consider yourself fortunate to try it.
This is my favorite beer ever... I've only had it at Karbach.... but they were doing small tastings... but I think I had about six small tastings... and I could feel it... I've heard they are planning on canning this maybe early next year... I hope I heard right...
Yeah, it's definitely that kinda beer. Brian at Rockwell double checked to see if I really wanted a full pint. I can see why - a pint was more than enough. I know nothing about canning but I sure hope nothing is lost by canning Bourbon Hellfighter. This is now my #1 porter followed by casked 512 Pecan Porter.
Well.. I'll always guess bottled or canned won't be as good as getting it straight from a tap... but I'm betting it will still be great.. as their Rodeo Clown transfers well to cans in my opinion.
Sweet. I heard November was the target from someone sampling at Specs but then read on Their Facebook it was in January, anyone know?
