Don't forget it is aged in Woodford Reserve barrels for six months. Had it yesterday and it was phenomenal.

 

I forsee another drive over and train ride home..

 

I wish they would bottle this so I could score some in OH

 

Really great beer. My second favorite Eugene variant behind Bean Gene.

 

Tried it Saturday night... great stuff - I thought it was a near perfect balance between the base beer, the barrel, and the fruit. Definitely worth seeking out...

 

i too enjoyed this. from what i'm told, blue gene is next, followed by bean gene.

 

Anyone know if they are doing any special tappings for Black Friday. Will be passing through the Chi

 

Boy gene was really good, it was a treat to find that rev had it on for my 30th bday celebration last month.

 

I'm still holding out for the mean gene with guava (or white pepper) aka gene ween.

 

Looks like blue gene is getting released today, draft only.

You mean at the pub? I thought it's been on tap at the brewery since Geneology 2 week ago

 

I knew that it had been on for Geneology but I saw a post today that it was on at the taproom and pub today. I haven't been up to the taproom in awhile so I wasn't sure it had stayed on there.
