Hi  Did some research but could not find a solid answer.

    1:1
    Bramble : BASC '13

Is this doable? Or would I have to add to this trade to make it happen? Thanks

Post an ISO and find out. My guess is that you're going to have to add, assuming you're looking for Bramble.

Might have to add to your side since BASC '13 is a yearly release versus Bramble being bottled only one time as of now. Good luck, Bramble has def. gotten better with age.

Wouldn't hurt to put up an ISO with that.

Even though it is a yearly release, the total number of BASC and Bramble is probably about the same or significantly more Bramble. BASC has only been released I think 4 times, at <1500 bottles each time.

Ive come to learn(IMO) that you cant always base trade values of beer based on bottle number... a example would be Rare...there was alot of Rare made, and its always held a good trade value..now that I think of it, rare isent the best example considering everything that goes into that beer but I say all that to say, while bramble was a higher bottle count, I think there is more demand for it.That and the fact that BASC has multiple releases as mentioned already in this thread

The multiple releases isn't as meaningful. Let's be honest here - it's an NC beer, that's the only reason it "doesn't" trade significantly better than the typical BCBS variants. If it was a Pappy-barrel, highly rated beer with a ~1300 bottle count released yearly from another state, it'd trade absurdly. And I use the quotes with "doesn't" because I've traded BASC 1:1 for Vanilla before, and not with a regular trade partner or immediately after Vanilla was released.

Rare is somewhat of an exception in other ways, too. It was released before the even greater growth in not just craft beer but trading and .rar-ity.

Wow. Never thought it would have pulled a vanilla.

Sorry to all the nay sayers, BASC is a great beer, and yes it comes from NC. It's been a 4 year release so it's not homerism to drive up the trade value like I've been accused with concerning Blendiculous. Now that's it's mostly gone or consumed everyone wants a Blendiculous, and I was offering it up for basically a shelf beer, but a ltd one. BASC is a very worthy beer IMO, I traded a BASC for a Black Tuesday last week.

I've seen a few posts where Bramble with some age on it is infinitely better than fresh.

Although bottle count might be the around the same total, there is just less demand for BASC than Bramble on the trading forums. Both are tasty beers, but Bramble is a bitch to get now while BASC is fairly attainable for limited releases.

We had a tasting with all the Bourbon County variants earlier this year and at least a couple of us at the tasting liked the Bramble the best. Of course, they were all great and on another day, perhaps I would have named another one as my favorite. It is an outstanding beer.

I offered BASC + BT the other day and mostly got crickets, one of the guys with an 'offer' asked if the Black Tuesday was '09. Ugh. 6 Months ago I got my first Bramble with a 4 pack of Black Note, the hype on that bottle now is through the roof.

That's far more than a generous offer, as much as I would like to try some things a BT and a BASC is pretty steep, both in terms of beer quality and price.
