    I just got one in a trade, which I was very happy about until someone burst my bubble *cough* Chad *Cough*

    Anyway, any word on whether or not FFF replaced bottles that died an undignified death?

    I think everything FFF does is on a case-by-case basis, but that being said everyone I know who sent them a polite non-threatening email with a legitimate grievance has been pretty satisfied with the outcome. While the failure rate on the Brandy DL bottles was unusually high compared to their other offerings, it's still low enough (1-2%) that it doesn't necessitate a company policy.

    Same thing happened to my bottle of 2010 Brandy DL. Never heard it explode, found it apparently a month or so later. All the beer had evaporated and there was some mold growth on the labels of the bottles near it.

    These whales are becoming extinct on their own, without the slaying tactics of hunters....I hope my Port Barrel doesnt try this before I get to it

    I had a regular 08 DL collapse on top of itself and destroy my kitchen cabinets. This was years ago and the wife thought I spilled a bottle of soy sauce.
