The BA beh may not get it done one to one even though it has fewer bottles made and cost $40-just not as much hype around that beer (although I thought it was very good) compared with the brandy huna. BA beh with cherries would very likely get it done in my opinion given the very low bottle count and the fact more bottles keep finding their way onto the trade blocks.

But as my buddy phishphorce said above you wont know till you try.

I can't wait until about 1500 bottles worth of BA Huna have been released... What are we at now, probably about 300-400? Somebody really should be keeping track. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah I look forward to seeing what it will trade like once they are all out. I still have a tentative trade for a ba huna for my CR+brandy Bois but I think IMA tell him I want to pass. It was easier to swallow when there was another great bottle we were trading for but when its just that trade it feels like too much.... Unless I can snag a bvdl for one =]

Why the hell would you trade both CR+Brandy Bois for a BA Huna? I mean, beyond $4$ being so off, that's twice as much equally good beer for the sake of ticker ticking?

I think its kind of shitty on your part to back out on a trade you agreed upon

Florida traders with BA Hunah are starting to come back down to earth. Seems to be more FTs out there now. And if people realized there were going to be so many bottles and just waited a little bit the craziness would not have gotten as bad as it did. I wouldn't doubt a lot of the same folks have got a ton of the bottles for sale, so the options may still be somewhat limited for those trying to acquire a bottle. The voucher system is interesting. Looking forward to hearing how that pans out. Good idea to spread out the love in principal though....

We never fully agreed... In fact I don't think I ever said yes especially since he declined my first offer. I said that whatever we end up agreeing upon it would have to wait until a week or two till I get my Bois. I'm still supposed to be seeing what shelf beers he can toss in. I had actually forgot he offered to toss in a shelf or two from CC that makes it a bit better on the $4$ end.

Nice job putting your foot in your mouth though.

Riiight....Im sure it was "tentative" upon you receiving the Brandy Bois...Thats not putting a foot in the mouth..Its rather obvious what your doing...The put it out in the public to see how they react routine is nice..

No its tinetive upon me not saying yes yet. He really wants to work something out with me cause he said he wants a Bruery RS guy for trades but l until I say yes I haven't agreed. Last word was I can make $4$ better for you by throwing in some shelf beers from CC so let me know what looks appealing. My response was I don't have the Bois yet so whatever we end up working out will have to wait a week or two.

    How is that locked in?

Besides he pulled the ba church on a hill off the table that we were talking about as an additional trade.....

It just sure seemed like you were trying to get public opinion and when it was going the other way it seemed like you were trying to get out of it...IF im wrong, im wrong, and I apologize for that.Didnt mean to get your blood pumping this morn...Just telling you how it seemed..

On a side note, I honestly cannot believe he didnt jump when you offered that..Makes me scratch my head

PSA for those holding Brandy Hunahpu bottles:

Today is the last day before the crash, so act swiftly. Tomorrow's Hill Farmstead release will command the impulse buyers' attention like car keys to a parakeet. The avalanche of HF posts with misspelled beer names will sweep you away. Don't sleep.

So now potential traders have to deal with two inches of rain in the area?! Oh man, if you plug in those x-factors to the beer trade value compared to the sunny, but slightly cold 50's weather Churchhill's Finest Hour release had. Then add in the Hill Farmstead inflation rate...

Mother of god, this is starting to look like the perfect whale storm.

You know what I love? I love when someone trades for a beer with the intent of spinning it into a "better" one. Just gets my adrenaline going and shit.

I started with a PBR, which I then traded for some Bud with the guy at the picnic next to me. With that I got a Bud light black crown and then traded for a Shock top. Which I then flipped for a Blue Moon that I flipped for some Fat Tire seasonal.

i'm not generally one of "those guys" but isn't it reasonable to suggest that if you offer up a trade and someone else accepts it...that's all that matters? perhaps to a highly motivated and constantly evolving market your idea isn't a "great trade" on paper, but as long as someone else says "yep i'll trade you X for your Y" that's all that matters. maybe a barrel-aged Dark Lord for a Brandy Hunahpu's is a horrific trade (or vice versa) but as long as someone bites that's all that matters...right?

I consider a trade done once i give my address and get thiers, until then they can back out no harm no foul.
