Just wondering to what kind of beer you'd add brandy-soaked oak cubes?

i'm also making apple brandy (inspired by the Captain lawrence dubel and smoked stouts i had aged in apple brandy oak barrels).

I would think thing almost anything would work well for them.
I might consider sticking with dubbels, quads and barleywines, but I have had brandy aged stout which was great.
