Hi all, My girlfriend and I are lucky enough to be returning to Brussels for long weekend. I have been several times so the beertinerary is not difficult to put together but obviously have to be conscious of how to squeeze it all in! Is Brasserie De La Senne well worth the visit? I see it's not terribly far from from the Grand Place (30 minutes or so with two trams?) and would like to see it if possible. Interested to hear peoples thoughts on the place in general and of course the beer selection on offer. Thanks in advance! Graeme
Hi Graeme! First of all, please note that the brewery is open to the public only on weekdays from 9am to approx. 3pm. A visit is only possible if arranged by e-mail before and might not be possible at all. But the 'brewery tap' features large glass windows allowing to peek at the brewery while having a drink (some beers are available on draught and the whole range is usually available in bottles. Take-away sales also possible + some merch is available (glasses/t-shirts). I find it well worth a visit if you're around and available during the opening times. Cheers! Antoine
Thanks so much for this information Antione. It's very much appreciated! Just so I am clear, even if a tour of the brewery isn't possible the 'brewery tap' is still open? Do the same hours apply? Thanks allot, Graeme
