These guys are local to me in Brighton and I've been trying to pop into the beer garden every now and then. But they announced last week that they finally have in-house brewed beers available. It took more than a year for them to get everything lined up after opening (Eversource dragging their feet on the gas line, a pandemic, etc.). I think Alex put out some quality stuff when he was brewing at CBC. The Pilot IPA they put on last week was pretty darn good and I look forward to trying the rest of the line-up as weather and COVID permit. They also have heaters set-up in their patio and the food at Brato has always been excellent. Now the beers can match. So, if you're in the area, give them a look. Always good to support small and local!
I've really been enjoying the virtual beer dinners that they've been putting on. Great food and a great reason to support some other local breweries I wouldn't normally go to.
Thanks for starting this thread, @EnronCFO. Jonathan has done a great job of elevating their pub fare while not making it inapproachable. My girlfriend still talks about their Nashville hot wings every time we get wings elsewhere. Their dill pickle ranch is the only ranch I actually like (and comes in handy to cool the tongue on a hell night). I'm very excited for Alex to finally be brewing on their own system. Like CBC, a great food and beer combo, I'm certain. Also, to note, I don't know if things have changed, but I believe they're doing tank service for the beer, or at least intend to.
