This would be interesting and nice to see. But I am a bit confused but the 500 barrels, thought it was 3,500 barrels? Bad fact checking on the part of the reporter. To be able to sell growlers the brewery has to produce less than 3500 barrels annually, and they can only sell 500 bbls annually as growlers.
A "Save the Growler" amendment passed over the summer. It is now up to 20,000 barrels annually. It doesn't appear that the 500 barrel from growler sales has changed, though.
