Picked up a six pack of Super Pale Ale while in MN for a wedding. This beer was one of the highlights of the MN beer that I loaded up on. But is it always the foamiest beer ever made? You could fight forest fires with this stuff. The entire six pack was crazy foamy. It was a long process getting the beer settled enough to drink, but definitely worth it in the end.

The second and most recent batch was mostly over carbed. Might be worth talking to the store you bought it at or emailing Brau Bros. about it.

Brau Bros having QC issues? I don't believe it!

I noticed the same thing too but I thought maybe I had just shaken the bottles hard as I was pulling them out of my fridge. I let the bottle warm up for about 10-15 mins before opening it and didn't have a huge wave of foam

The second to last sixer I bought was very foamy as well. I bought two at the same time, and I haven't yet opened the second one yet, but I anticipate the same.

On another note, and take the advice as you may, but my friend was opening one of my overcarbbed home brews, and he said if you place the bottle into the freezer close to the point of freezing, and then open it, the carbonation really decreases. Might be worth a shot...

I noticed the same thing with the last few six-packs I bought as well, and also had numerous customers tell me the same thing. Nothing wrong with how the beer tastes, just extremely over-carbonated. A buddy of mine emailed them and never got a response. I have emailed them regarding other things and have yet to hear back. No hard feelings though. As long as they continue to brew good beer, I will keep buying it.

Great customer service it seems  Too many of these just don't realize the importance of communicating and responding to the people who will support them....some get it....most don't....there can't be that many e-mails coming in to places like Brau Brothers are there? I work in a different business that is heavily in the public eye and always reply to any inquires promptly even though it is a pain in the ass sometimes...
