Does anyone have any information regarding Brauerei Finster from Burghaslach Germany? Or leads for how to learn more about them?

I think they were in business 1687-1993. I know they made, at least, a Pils, a Mazen, and a Voll beer.

    Thanks for your help.

Sadly, information on small, defunct german breweries is very rare-esp. when they are from franconia, maybe because there are still too many to count and the loss of one or two is only noted by a few locals (compare this to cities which only had one or two bigger breweries in the younger past and lost them all- information on the defunct breweries of Aachen or Trier is at least there in form of pictures, interviews with former staff, and such...)

Oh and one more thing, this article has a picture of the brewery during a high tide in 1972 http://www.wwa-an.bayern.de/wasser_erleben/lehrpfade/burghaslach/stationen/index.htm - maybe the author knows more or has at least some pictures or other documents about the brewery?

Thanks. I'll check out the author. Once I know more, I will share the results.
