i have a couple cases of this 2014 founders breakfast stout in my cellar. The more varieties I drink, the more I need space. Is it worth posting an IP FT in vt when I take a ride up this spring? I was hoping to trade for things I can't get readily in NJ. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks

I think they get Founders in Vermont (or is that the state where it is banned due to the baby on the label?) Either way, you can probably trade it but I wouldn't expect anything crazy

Kinda what I was thinking. I'll buy a sixer once or twice a year but cases?

Lesson learned. I started getting into the coffee stouts this past fall. Really got into breakfast stout and wnb coffee oatmeal as two very accessible, solid stouts. In a rookie attempt to not run out, I have now find myself with too much as I have gotten into variations of stouts and different style beers. I am looking at this multiplying pile and I'm trying to figure out how to balance selection. Would I have any chance of driving up to vt w 2 cases to trade if I were willing to go above $4$?

Start drinking that stuff ! You could have worse problems. Put up a trade request now and see what kind of response you get.

I don't see anyone accepting a trade for FBS unfortunately. It's so widely available and in abundant supply still almost everywhere unfortunately. I would just drink it up and share with friends and family as much as possible when they come over.

Agree to start drinking it. Just wanted to ask as I heard it wasn't sold in NH and I figured some may be looking for it up north. Thanks again for info.

You should offer it up for some Firestone/Russian River Justin! NorCal doesn't get Founders yet, so that would be a way to unload some. Problem is, NJ->CA is probably pretty pricey, shipping wise.

Not only is Founders Breakfast Stout still on shelf in Vt., the Imperial also is (unlike around here). You have near zero chance of doing an IP Vt. trade IMO.

Years ago, Breakfast stout tasted better and was in much shorter supply. As of late, it basically sits around because they've saturated the market. For example, Costco in Wayne, NJ had a whole pallet they were selling at $42.99 a case and it still took them quite awhile to go through.

Like some others have said, you're probably looking at a shipping trade and you most likely won't be able to get anything in high demand. $4$ with shelf stuff, I'd expect

I do shelf beer trades all the time Just post it as FT: Breakfast Stout ISO: $4$ Your locals outside (insert your area)

Its amazing to see how people devalue their local beers for beers they can't get outside their area
