Voodoo does a couple of beers in this style that are exemplary. Cowbell is a "double chocolate oatmeal milk imperial stout." The catch is, this beer is only ever on nitro and they do not fill growlers. Thus, you'll have to drink it at the brewpub or hope to the high heavens that you'll run into on tap somewhere in Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh or Philly, most likely).

A much more accessible beer of theirs in this style is Breakfast of Champions, which is a lower ABV stout brewed with coffee, local maple syrup, and cacao nibs. I was enamored with it from the first whiff. They do fill growlers and you could probably trade for one fairly easily.

Another western PA representation is Lavery's Ulster Breakfast Stout. Truly enjoyable and they do bottles of it every couple of months. Again, I can't imagine it would be too difficult to trade for this one.

    Cheers.

    Oak aged yeti
Lost Abbey Serpents Stout (not breakfast-style but I think would be real nice if you could get hands on a bottle)

So what the hell is a "breakfast style stout?" Any stout with coffee in it? Does that make something like Mikkeller's Koppi a "breakfast style IPA?"

Outside of the usual suspects (FBS, Peche Mortel, any of Mikkeller's Beer Geek series stouts), I would second Stone Xocoveza - it's got that chocolate/vanilla/coffee bean/cinnamon mix going for it that I think fits well into the breakfast theme. It's a mug of Mexican-style hot chocolate in beer form.

Yea, forgot about that one. The Espresso Oak Aged Yeti is one of my favs.

Anyone ever had Evil Twin's Bozo Beer? Judging by the description it sounds like it has everything awesome in it for breakfast.. I'm still regretting not buying that one when it hit the shelves, because the next day I went to get it, it was already gone.

Sante Fe Imperial Java is one of my favorite stouts of all time. I can only get it when I go to Colorado.
