Breaking Down IPA Fest in Cyberspace (2021) Packages

    I love digging into the numbers and gaining some insight into our community, so here's a quick breakdown of IPA Fest in Cyberspace.

    IPA Fest in Cyberspace Packages Order Stats
    • 2,253 packages were sold (max was 2,250).
    • Packages will be sent (soon!) to 26 states plus DC.
    • Based on email matches:
      • At least 732 attendees also attended Extreme Beer Fest in Cyberspace.
      • 1,495 were already BeerAdvocate members prior to syncing.
      • This time, only 355 purchased tickets to our in-person fests within the last two years or so prior to March 2020. No doubt a byproduct of the online format / being able to reach people outside of our fest markets.

    I've been to 3 BA in-person events and probably 10+ hosted by others. First virtual beer fest. Hey... no lines for beer, restrooms, or munchies and no travel!

    Two of the Nevada boxes are from your fans in Colorado (evidentially our shipping sucks & CO was removed from The Fest) that had boxes shipped to family in NV to have one reshipped to CO. Who loves ya Todd?? :slight_smile:

    Bring on the IPAs! Looking forward to the shorter lines though I can't wait to get back in line at first non virtual beer festival opportunity. I've been to several BA Beer festivals over the years and no one runs a festival as smoothly and well executed as Beer Advocate does!
