My oversized (18 oz) tulip glass broke in the sink this morning.

I really want a teku, but I don't think there is a single one available in the entire state of Maryland. I'm hoping Burley Oak will come out with one.

I use a Belgian tulip or snifter for almost everything. When the dishes aren't done, occasionally I use an old Bass Ale 16 oz. Tankard, or a 20 oz. Pub Pint Glass, or my Lagunitas Mason Jar glass. Though I think the aromas come through the best on the snifter or the tulip, I don't find any of my other glassware to really come up lacking. I don't think I could really say that I have enjoyed any beer significantly less that was decanted in "inappropriate" glassware.

This is all I saw when I read this the first time.

Me too. Love the feel and simplicity of the shaker glass. And I have WAY too many of them! I have a cool tall Radeberger mug for pilsner, and when I (rarely) drink Belgian it's from a Chimay goblet.

I have so many glasses I just usually use what fits me that day. I try to use proper glassware for special brews that I won't see again or are rare.
