It was one of the x-taps at the Bend Brewfest, and though I know some people who counted it as their favorite beer of the festival, I did not get to try it. So, you know, that 3rd hand info is probably really helpful.
I had it and thought it was pretty good. I remember it having a lot of barrel character but not whole lot of smoke flavor.
i had it at the Breakside anniversary party, thought it was great. are there any bottles floating around other than the ones i saw at the Brews for New Avenues auction?

Thanks for the info guys. I saw them available for sale at the NE Pub on Monday, but didn't pull the trigger. Looks like it's worth grabbing a couple bottles. They also got it in at Belmont Station yesterday.
I had this at the Breakside anni party as well and loved it. I definitely plan to pick up a bottle or two.
Might as well pile on... it was available on draft during a "from the wood" event at Bier Stein. I thought it one of the better offerings I tried during the event. Cheers!
I had this at the Milwaukie Tap room and really enjoyed it. They have 22s for sale there for $12 (on tap as well).
Had a taster at the Taproom. Didn't get a whole lot of smoke and I thought it had just the right amount of whisky barrel. Picked up two bottles incase I wanted to cellar one, but I feel like it is drinking perfectly now. Also picked up a growler of the Fresh Hop Citra IPA. Man that stuff is good
That Fresh Hop Citra is seriously astoundingly good. Wish I had bought a growler when I had the chance.
Breakside Fresh Hop Release tonight 4-7pm at the 'Mongers, we will have that plus Grapefruit Chamomile Sour, Beach Saison, and Birra Minestra on tap. And yes, we have AftW bottles to go/for here at a good price...
