I just had this beer this week for the first time. I found some clones of it out there and wanted to find out what ingredients gave it the particular taste it has. It does not taste like a dipa at all to me. I really liked the sweat taste the beer had. Here are the malts in it,
    Pale Ale Malt
    Caramel Malt
    Wheat, Torrified
    Carapils® Malt
    Munich Malt

The only hop that I did notice was fuggle. Is it the Caramel Malt the ingredient that gives it that sweet taste? Are there other beers that have a similar taste?

Caramel can contribute to the sweetness. Also the process (mash temperature) and the yeast used (via the ability to attenuate the beer).

I suspect that beer has a fair amount of crystal malts in it, more so than typical IPAs. I rather liked the beer, but then I'm not part of the "crystal bad" for IPAs crowd.

The munich probably contributes to the flavor differences in that beer (compared to regular ol' IPAs). I love munich malt, so the more the better. :grinning:
