Bretts vs Wilds

    I'm sorry but these have to be in different categories.

    Someone please explain how a beer fermented with brett is more similar to a wild ale than a beer brewed with saccromyces is.

    To me, a brett beer is as different from a wild as a lager or ale. I can't be alone on this.

    Brett is considered a wild yeast. Wild Ale is not a specific style, it is a catch all category for beers that use Brett and in some cases bacteria but do not fit into other styles - similar to the idea with a Strong Ale which simply describes a strong beer that does not fit into another category.
