If you are ever in CT, Concentric in Portland has a restaurant in it (Graze) that is farm to table with a super talented chief. Their normal menu has lots of great options outside of your standard brewery/pub fair and there are weekly specials and Thursday burger deals that well worth a stop. The menu changes seasonally too so between that and the large and varied tap list, there is always a good reason to stop by! The local farm they work with even raises emus, so you can find that on the menu from time to time.

You sure have introduced me to food at Novare, CBC, and Trillium I have yet to try. Thank you.

 

Buffalo Chicken Tenders at CBC are terrific. Sounds like an incredibly basic choice, but they are about as good as it gets.

 

I need to try that cake at Barrington. It looks incredible every time that I go there, I just never have the appetite after a meal to get it. However, I'm likely going there for some oysters after work tomorrow...

I don’t know why, but the first time I read it, I said it in my head with a southern accent and it sounded fine.

 

An update, that Chocolate Stout Cake is ridiculous. One slice was split between three of us, and it was still way too much. Really tasty though.

 

I suppose not quite New England, but Common Roots across the lake in Glens Falls NY kicks ass w/ food, beer and atmosphere.

VT - Shishito Peppers at Black Flannel are a must as is Smash Burger at BBCo though the Smash at Mule Bar is pretty dang close.

 

Sounds like you've got some fantastic spots on your list! Common Roots in Glens Falls and those Shishito Peppers at Black Flannel sound like absolute winners. And who can resist a good Smash Burger? Now, I'm on a mission for some delicious brunch near me—any recommendations?

 

I always forget how good their pizza is! Was there last week and had their Marzen (delicious) with a pizza....so good.
