Anyone going to this? I don't know if it's worth it though. Still on the fence here.

"Brew Ha Ha Productions Presents the Inaugural “Brew Hee Haw” Craft Beer Roundup July 11-13 at the OC Fair

This summer, Brew Ha Ha Productions, creator of the most award winning craft beer festivals in Orange County, teams up with the OC Fair, voted BEST Fair in Southern California, to unveil BHHP’s newest craft brew experience, the Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup. This inaugural event will be held opening weekend of the 2014 OC Fair, July 11 – 13 and will offer day and evening tasting sessions with over 60 regional craft brews to sample including Southern California Pale Ales, IPA’s, Stouts, Saisons, Hefeweizens, and more.

The Brew Hee Haw tasting session tickets will present craft beer connoisseurs and those new to craft beer with 60 stand out regional craft beer selections, a commemorative festival beer glass, expert speakers, homebrew demonstrations, games, music and more. The Brew Hee Haw will be located inside the OC Fair and will highlight award winning regional breweries such as Stone Brewing Co., Bottle Logic Brewing, Tustin Brewing Co., Noble Ale Works, and Hoparazzi, to name a few.

Join fellow craft beer fans for an all-new craft beer experience.

featuring over 60 of the best breweries in the region. Also included with the Brew Hee Haw tickets is an all-day OC Fair pass good from Noon to Midnight on Friday and 10:00 a.m. to Midnight on Saturday & Sunday. Brew Hee Haw ticket holders are invited to enjoy all of the sights, sounds and tastes of the OC Fair prior to, during and after their tasting session on that day.

As with most Brew Ha Ha Productions events, brewers, owners and other craft beer celebrities will be in attendance. In addition to an incredible line up of presentations, industry experts will be available to talk to everyone from ‘beer geeks’ to craft beer novices about the interesting and delicious world of craft beer. The lineup of presenters includes “Dr.” Bill Sysak, resident beer genius and Certified Cicerone (like a ‘Sommelier’ for wine), at the famous Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, Ed Heethuis Certified Cicerone from Ritual Brewing, and more.

Come for the craft beer – Stay for the OC Fair!

Brew Ha Ha Productions is known for their portfolio of unprecedented and often sold out craft beer tasting and pairing experiences in Southern California. Their 2014 craft beer events include the 5th Annual OC Brew Ha Ha, the 3rd Annual Brew Ho Ho Holiday Ale Festival, Gray Cloud Pairing Experience, Sabroso Craft Beer and Taco Festival and now the Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup which is sure to be another award winning, annual event.

The July 11 Brew Hee Haw offers an evening tasting session from 6-10 p.m. July 12 and 13 events include sessions in the afternoons from 12-4 p.m. and evenings from 5-9 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are available per session for $50 and include 15 tastings of over 60 beer selections, a commemorative festival glass, all event activities, and an all day pass to the OC Fair. Tickets may be available on the day of each session for $55 pending availability. For more information or to purchase tickets go to http://ocbrewheehaw.com. "Regarding this " Pre-sale tickets are available per session for $50 and include 15 tastings of over 60 beer selections"

$50 includes only 15 pours? How many ounces are these pours? Do you have a list of the beer selection? Will I be able to choose from these beers?

    Thanks for your time." Me

"You will get 15 3-4 oz pours during the festival, and yes you will have your choice of the beers you wish to taste. You also get a commemorative glass to keep. Thanks so much for your support!
    Cheers," them.

Doesn't seem worth it at all, especially with no list of beers only breweries.

Getting 15 - 4oz pours (or the equivalent of 5 - 12 oz beers) and a glass for $50. Does not seem like a good deal to me. It has been my experience that most (not all) breweries bring kegs of shelf beers to these types of events.

Sounds like an event to skip for sure.

"Any list of the beers you will have and not just the breweries?" Me.

"We are still compiling the beers today and I am not sure if we will be posting a list of the beers. If we do it would probably go up on our website within the next few days. Thanks!
    Cheers," them.

Honestly, this will sell out simply because of the "Woo! Beer!" crowd. Not shocking that no list will be posted. Or maybe they do post a list and reveals a need to go? I'll gladly give them a chance here, but my interest has all but faded.

It's a good Baby's first beer event type of place for those too lazy to just go to each breweries tasting room and sample a variety of their beers.

the 15 pours stuff just sounds pretty bad in terms of deals, but I'm sure since they've been doing these events for some time now, they fine tuned it so that there's not too many completely drunk brahs out there.

If it's kegs of shelf beer then that's a joke to be charging that much. I can just go around the corner to like iron press in the same city and get flights of 4 five ounces pours of better beer for $12.

Not that they're an example of the others, but I would be hardpressed to label what Hoparazzi makes as "shelf beer"

Again, YOU aren't the target audience for these events, Freshflash. The audience for this is the person who wants to try a variety from breweries without having to go to all their tap rooms. It's at the OC Fair, for goodness sakes. Why do you expect a level of high brow quality from a place that gives you the instant heart attack on a stick in their fried foods?

I do think they try to make one or two taps of not shelf beer, but not too crazy rare things every few breweries. I'm sure places like Bottle Logic would have fun with it and bring out a mother heifer variant or the likes of that. So there's a handful of sought out tasters, but mostly just a gateway for new beer drinkers.

Brewery w/ beer list is up. Nothing special as usual. As always I'll pass on this one. This is another one for newbies.

One does get a a entrance ticket to the fair and you can come and go from the beer event throughout the day. That is pretty cool.

If this was unlimited, there's some beers I'd go and enjoy. Not for limited pours though.
