Last minute post to see if any other BA's plan on being there today. Shameless plug for @Krumb team Mossberg who had some of the best beers last year.

@rainerschuhsler gonna be there this year homie?

Oddly, I didn't get on the internet yesterday. Otherwise I would have replied to this earlier and struck up a conversation at the booth. I stopped by Mossberg though after @mattisloco's recommendation. Tim's IPA was very good and Purple Drank was great and the wife loved the saison so everyone was happy!

There were some interesting beers there - brett saison, brett IPAs, grapefruit and cucumber gose. There are some really nice homebrews out there! But also some very, very bad homebrews out there.

Mossberg had an IPL and an IPA with citra and mosaic. They were both great but the IPA blew me away. Not only was it extremely clean and well crafted but those are current two favorite hops. If only I could get that on a regular basis...then again, I would probably become an alcoholic. *added bonus was some pretty sweet free glassware

Unfortunately there weren't as many booths this year, ~20 less I believe. It helped with the crowd being more manageable but I hate to see an even like that get smaller.

Glad folks liked the beer we brought. Good opportunity for me to get up north and hang out with @cfh64 and the Grotto Schwalls boys - Grotto and Manhattan Project always bring great beers. I should have mentioned that if you were a BA, then make sure to let me know so I could put some faces to "names" - really hate that I didn't do that, as I missed the opportunity to hang out with @sethsticles and @mattisloco.

I wish I made it. I've never actually been but I did have your beer somewhere in the metroplex around 2 years ago.

The seventh tap represented Shreveport / Bossier City, LA well, bringing home the 2nd overall prize. Very proud of these guys!

@cfh64 its about time for another tasting at your house. I'll bring some vinyl to spin this time. If you ever make it over this way, @SteveyTI @Compton25 @Jim13 and I will have to crack some bottles

Thanks for the rundown. I enjoyed Brew Riot when I was around. Still have the 1.1 sticker on my beer fridge. I'll be in Dallas in a few weeks.

Dang it. I wish I saw this earlier. I arrived late, saw you pouring ADWTD and didn't want to intrude, meant to come back to say hi, but after a bunch of beers, I forgot.

Seemed slightly more crowded with fewer teams this year but still really enjoyed going. I'm glad it didn't rain like it was supposed to. Mossberg had great stuff. Another team had a really tasty brett IPA that I want more of. Tried a Mumme style beer for the first time and really enjoyed it. Was pleased to taste a berliner and a couple gose beers too. This year seemed to be the year of the saisons, as just about everyone had one. One team had homemade mustard that was crazy good. Wish I could get their recipe.

I'll definitely be back next year.

Damn dude, you should have said hi. Krumb and his brother were the guys who popped the ADWTD. He specifically told me to stop by so he could share it with me. I'm sure he would have done the same for you. BTW, thanks for that Jim, it was fantastic.

Fuck, right when I think I have some free time to stop drinking, lol. Looks like another tasting or two are in order. Micah, I'm becoming all hip and shit. Just figured out how to download music and play it on my surround. 24+ hours of nothing but old school hand picked country. Got Alabama in there for Mark (and myself) as well.

Kinda surprised this doesn't get a little more attention, one of the best events of the year. Any lurkers out there plan on showing up?

Nice, I'll stop by and say hello. Best weather we've had that I can remember. No rain and low 70's.

    @Krumb I assume you'll be there?
@thirdeye11 I'm almost assured I'll bump into you
@rainerschuhsler making it up this year?
@mattisloco being a poon as usual

I'll be exploring. Stopping by Dallas Homebrew Collective, Back Alley Ales, and Bleshoux to check out some friends' beers. I think Manhattan and Mossberg are in the works of launching a professional brewery so I'll try some of their stuff. I remember Mossberg being pretty tasty from last year. I'll be sure to check 7th Tap as well to support other BAs!

Love Mossberg, Jim and the crew do a great job, definitely a must stop. There's so many hidden gems out there its impossible to find them all randomly but Mossberg always delivers.

Not to "homer"the BA's brewing here but Mossbergs Persimmon Sourand the Seventh Tap Last Brunch are top notch and f'in delicious. I wouldn't bother trading beer if I could brew like these guys.
