Hi all.... new member / long time reader here. Quick question for any of you using BrewCipher with the Mash & Boil: When setting values on the "Brewhouse" tab, there's a spot for both mash tun deadspace and kettle deadspace - since this is basically an all-in-one device, is it as simple as putting a 0 in the mash tun deadspace cell and an actual value in the kettle deadspace or will that wreak havoc on calculations elsewhere in the workbook? Thanks in advance for any info!

I would think the best option for you would be to pick that you are using BIAB. Basically the same thing on these models.

This is correct. Since no dead space wort will be left behind (from the mash phase) that doesn't make it into the boil, the mash tun deadspace should be set to 0. And the kettle deadspace should reflect whatever is left behind when draining the kettle. Also, if all of the water is used in a single infusion, then set the Brew-In-A-Bag indicator to "Y," as @Granitebeard indicated.

    No havoc shall be wreaked.
