Anyone know where to find Scotland's BrewDog beers in the Greater Boston Area? I finally had a Libertine Black Ale at Eastern Standard this weekend and loved it. Recommendations for other good black ales/lighter stouts that I could find around here would be great too! I had a growler of Rising Tide's Atlantis in the spring, which was excellent.

There were at least two brews (maybe more) on tap at Island Creek Oyster Bar (same group as Eastern Standard) when I went for dinner a few weeks ago. I had a 5 a.m. Saint, but can't remember the other(s). Also, Vinnin Liquors in Swampscott usually has several in stock including Punk IPA.

On the lighter stout side, the first beer that comes to mind is Harpoon Boston Irish Stout which is always on tap at Stoddard's in Downtown Crossing.

I feel like BrewDog is available pretty regularly at the better beer stores in the Boston area. What part is home? That'll help with store recommendations.

If you want some excellent Scottish food to go with your Scottish beers, The Haven in Jamaica Plain usually has 5 or 6 BrewDog beers available in bottles and occasionally has one on tap.

Don't know the South End shops well. But this thread is a nice resource for better shops in your area... http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/visiting-boston-guide-summer-14-edition.182136/

As for lighter stouts, maybe check out things like:
    Ohara's Irish stout
Sierra Nevada Stout (or porter for that matter)
    Wolavers Oatmeal stout
    Sam Smith's oatmeal stout
...otherwise I'm kinda blanking at the moment...

If you like your beers dark and roasty but want quenching drinkability, consider black lagers. Luckily, Sam Adams makes a nice one.

I'd assume either of the Wine Emporiums would have it and I'd assume the same of Urban Grape.
I regularly shop at all three, but Brewdog may as well be wallpaper to me. Not something I notice when looking for something delicious. Those three would be my first suggestions though.

Bier cellar in Portland Maine always has brew dogs bottles.
