I don't like that much many IPA is Dead beers eather. Especially the newest ones are quite meh. Still, main reason is the hops they used. The whole idea is show characters of different hops.

Bitch Please is really good ber IMO. It is heavy peated, so I understand, that everybody don't certainly like it.

I haven' had Ingrid, but Hello my name is Beastie, is actually quite bad.

Jack Hammer is quite good when Fresh, but yeah, not best of the best.

TNP and StB are..well unique and quite difficult to say that much about those.

Havent had the rest you mentioned.

Yeah, it is some of their label: "The beer scene is sick and we are fucking doctor".

I'd agree with this. Went to their bar in Camden London and the range of beers on offer was fantastic. They had a crazy bottle selection and two Firestone Walker beers on draft. Staff were also very passionate and knowledgeable. Credit given where due.

I think they rate themselves quite highly actually.

Most of their beers that I have had have been average, some have been quite good, none have been stellar. All of them that I've bought in this country have been too expensive.

There is a huge difference between the quality of their products and the price as well as the promised quality of the concepts.
Take the AB’s for instance, the interesting concepts translate largely into ok to good beer overall but fall short of the promise and none of them justify they price point. Not to mention that they frequently charge prices which are dangerously close to highway robbery – the production cost of a bottle of Sink the Bismark is for instance 1 £.

Their standard offerings are okay but pale compared to alternatives largely. Never cared for their IPA’s.

I have been known to buy their beers. I have tried 32 of their beers so far but I see no reason to kid myself.

I haven’t even mentioned the marketing yet.

I've been a fan since the beginning at hit their pub in Camden the last time I was in London. Very impressed with the selection of BrewDog and guest beers on hand.

The shipping expense is rough. I have the Abstrakt series and it is like $50 per shipment.

If you want to try it, Id say pickup Hard Core at BevMo. Its like $6.79 which isnt bad and the last one I had tasted really good. Another alternative is to wait for a collaboration. Ballast Point, FFF, Mikkeller, and a couple others have collaborations with them.

At the prices I see their beer selling for, they can keep it.

Always some fools with money burning a hole in their pockets to keep breweries like Brewdog alive and well, though.

To me I thought Dead Pony Club was one of the best beers they've made. It's the complete opposite of their aggressive high ABV beers that they make. It's definitely worth trying in my opinion. I believe they're underrated as well... to each their own I guess. As for their attitude I find them comical, and it's not much different than the "arrogance" that Stone uses from time to time as well. I support BrewDog and what they do, I enjoy most of their beers also.

    Tactical Nuclear Penguin - Awful
    Paradox Smokehead - Awful
    Hype - annoying
    Price - ridiculous

Too many other good/great breweries to choose from. Too bad if they really make some great beers because I'm not likely to ever buy them. If someone brings one to a beer tasting and I really like it, I may be persuaded to give them another try.

It is different. You don't see Greg Koch going around talking malicious shit about Fred Eckhardt and Charlie Papazian. That's the equivalent of what Brewdog do.

I will say, I did like Paradox Jura. But $15 for something that isn't even 12 oz is ridiculous - a beer with that price better be orgasmic. Is Paradox Jura excellent? Yes. Is it orgasmic? Nope.

I was there in March and having never really heard of them I was impressed with the bar and the beer lineup. Never really sought them out in the US but the prices and quality were on point when I was abroad.

In the UK, BrewDog are hugely overrated. The people that work with them are generally very arrogant and have the belief that they make the best beer in the world which they do not by a long shot

I have to disagree. Hardcore is a great IPA, but not every bottle really tastes the same.

This is pretty much the vibe I got when I visited their bar in Camden Town. Their marketing schtick would have been a lot cooler if their beer was at least somewhat above mediocre. I really wanted to like them, but I was very disappointed.

I went to their bar in Glasgow twice when I was in Scotland earlier this year.

Pretty cool place and kinda alleviates the 'overpriced' aspect. Cocoa Pyscho is great.

BrewDog is rare in my area and when you can find it its in singles, so price hasn't been a problem because I don't usually buy six or four packs. What I've had has been very good, but then again I've only had a few like 5 a.m. Saint and Punk IPA.
