it would be nice if brewdog made beers that were drinkable and worth a damn rather than shitty gimmicks like this.

not to say that eising is a shitty gimmick as many good breweries use it to great effect, but marketing on ABV alone is.

The idea of freezing beer to make it stronger is not a new one (Eisbock). I mean maybe they came up with some new and more effective way of doing it, but it's still not nearly as innovative as they make it out to be.

Hmm.. I don't get that. TNP ja STB are also freezed to make it stronger, so.. what is the new thing here?

If it isn't stuffed inside a squirrel carcass, then I don't want it. Maybe not even a squirrel, shoot big and do a magnum inside a raccoon.

They're calling it a spirit and not a beer, seems odd as they've marketed their previous ice-distilled high abv beverages as beers.

Honestly, it's not all that intriguing aside from the fact that they are putting them into little bottles which will be less expensive and making it more affordable to try. Sounds like after they release it in the little bottles though, they are moving it to a "spirit" sized bottle and will market it as a hop-scotch or something.

I could care less about these high abv beers, aside from what De Struise has done with some of their high abv beers, I dont find them interesting. I'd rather see them just crank out more punk and deadponyclub cans so that there is an abundance of session-able/hoppy canned beers in europe.

The packaging made me think this was going to be a collaboration with the folks who make 5 hour energy drinks.

I've seen various brewdog beers at the local store in my town and they are always $6 or more for a 12 ounce beer. Are any of them worth the money?

Usually they are worth to try, but never best of the best in my opinion.

I've never been impressed by anything I've had from BrewDog, so my interest in this will depend on how ridiculous they decide to price it.

Super interesting concept, and I hope they don't get crazy with the pricing.

I'm honestly not the slightest bit interested in trying this. I just don't see the point. Enjoy it on the rocks? Like vodka with randelled hops? Why not just do that and save the 40 bucks they'll charge for this

For what they charge for their beers they can keep them.
