Breweriana BIF 2013 (1st edition)

Since it's clear most of us have a serious problem of not having enough glassware in our lives it's time for the first 2013 Breweriana BIF of 2013! This will run similar to the previous one many of you have participated in or followed from a few weeks ago with a few slights changes. First off I'm going to post a spreadsheet with people who participated in the previous round and they have first right of refusal. I've created a column in the spread sheet where they can say if they're in or sitting out this round. I'm going to bump this round up from 20 to 40 people so there's potential to have 20 new people included at a minimum and maybe more if previous users decline!

One of the more important "changes" is that we want people with a solid positive trade history; if you don't have a trade history a reputable BA can sponsor you. That may seem douchey to some and everyone has to start somehere but I just want to make sure everyone receives a quality box and no one hopefully flakes out. There is going to be a minimum amount of glassware to be sent but also a maximum amount. A few of us thought a maximum was good so people weren't trying to one up others as hauls were posted. As always please follow the rules or you will be excluded from future rounds. I'm going to leave sign ups open until Friday the 15th around noon eastern standard time but think this will probably fill up before then. After the deadline or the list fills up I'll go through and checkout who signed up and assign targets. Once everyone has a target I'll post the date that boxes have to be sent by (probably a 3-4 week window).

Now for the rules:

- 4 glass minimum.
- MUST be non-shaker pints, preferably stemware, including mini-snifters.
- Must be brewery/brewpub-related, with preference to locals, or target's "wants list."
- 6 glass maximum.
- Glasses 5-6 can be non-brewery, but still beer-related, e.g. beer bars, beer shops, etc.
- Shakers are allowable, but not encouraged.
- One piece of swag: brewery/beer-related apparel, signs, etc.
- If target does not specify t-shirt size, that means he/she prefers something other than a shirt (i.e. don't guess on shirt sizes).
- Other non-glass extras are at sender's discretion (no minimum or maximum): beer, coasters, bottle openers, koozies, stickers, misc.

*Disclaimer - Do not enter this B/GIF if you can not afford it, or if you don't have access to LOCAL brewery gear necessary to abide by the standards! We want this to be a level playing field and for everyone to get a fair deal. There will always be other rounds, so if you're not able to fully participate this time, you can just sit this one out and start working on a package for future rounds.

That's OK, there's plenty of sick Philly area glass that lots of people want.

 

Well this doesn't look good for my competency... Should actually be fixed now.

 

Forgot to mention that a list of what you have for glassware is extremely helpful for whoever your target is as well as wants.
