I've been to Asheville before but it was a blur. I'll be going again in 2 weeks and was scouting out what beer to look for this time.

I have a good grasp on the local breweries and other NC breweries but was unsure of 2 beers. Can Bear Republic Racer 5 or AleSmith Speedway Stout be found easily at either Appalachian Vintner or Brusin Ales? I didn't want to waste my time hunting them down if they're not distributed there.

I appreciate the focus of your inquiry. I can't answer your question but I hope that some one can, and that this thread doesn't devolve into the typical stumps about which shop is better than the other and how you should just go to Wicked Weed instead, despite what it is that you're specifically looking for.
    Good luck.

Speedway stout is listed as available on Brusin Ales website. I don't remember seeing Racer 5 in Asheville, but I have never looked for it while there.

Both can be found. But depends on timing snd availability. Seen both before.

AleSmith literally just started distributing to WNC. Speedway is available as of today.
