When did Karl Strauss start filling blanks? Regardless, glad to hear it. My two blank growlers were originally from Karl, and I guess this means I can transform the rest (and totally fill up on $8 Big Barrel this Friday).

 

Nice thread and even nicer spreadsheet link! I just got a beautiful Portland Growler Co. ceramic growler for Christmas so this will help me find some spots to fill it up.

Yeah, this style is apparently pretty popular. My girl got me this for Christmas and apparently was in contact with someone from the company for like 4 months before it was available again.

 

The Bruery fills unmarked growlers that are the same shape as theirs.

 

This is an awesome idea with great execution. It is still crazy that the spreadsheet is that small though. There are less than 50 breweries listed right now for the whole state, meanwhile the county of San Diego is upwards of 80 on it's own. We need to do more as consumers to populate this list. I'm going to make it a point to ask whenever I go somewhere not yet listed here.

 

It would be nice if the rest of the LA area breweries filled blank growlers at least. Been wanting to get fills at Smog City and Beachwood but I have no space for more growlers.

Wishing more would jump on this. But. . . .

 

Bike dog in West Sac fills blanks, they had painters tape at the bar to cover logos. Standard screw top growlers. The spreadsheet indicates Heretic does not fill blanks, did they change recently? I filled blank growler there in November.

Soceite's needs to be updated. I was there couple weeks ago and they said they aren't able to fill my SS growler (just like theirs without the logo). They're still awaiting approval, I'm assuming in regards to the labels.
