Just moved to Pennsylvania and was wondering if anyone in the BA community knows of some good breweries to visit. I already have my eye on a couple such as Victory, Troegs, and even going down to Maryland for Flying Dog. Even if you know of some outside of PA, please let me know, especially if there are some in close proximity to each other. I have already been to Appalachian Brewing Company. Thanks for your input!
Troegs and Victory should be on your list. My favorite trip is to Selinsgrove to the Selins Grove brew pub. They don't bottle so bring your growlers. Weyerbacher in Easton is a good one too.
Tired hands in Ardmore PA is a must http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/28383 get some bread while you're there !
No matter what you think of Yuengling beer, their brewery tour is great. There's a lot of history in that brewery.
Where in PA? 'Tis a big place. Voodoo up in Meadville is solid. Can't go wrong with Pizza Boy Brewing Company at Al's of Hampden in Enola, PA (wait until they open the new place later this month). Otto's in State College has good stuff from time to time, might as well hit Elk Creek while you're up there. Outside of PA? Great Lakes, Southern Tier, Duclaw, and Heavy Seas to various degrees of travelling.
Spring House Brewing Co. has a place in Lancaster City called The Taproom. Check them out if you're in the general area. Lancaster Brewing Co. is also in the city, so you could hit both at the same time. I'm not a huge fan of LBC, but they aren't bad. Just very average.

If doing Yards hit up Philadelphia Brewing Co as well. Riverhorse in Lambertville, NJ before they move to Ewing. (so get there soon) Flying Fish should be starting up tours again this year in their new Somerville location. That should be a lot better than their old facility.
Note that that's "Somerdale" (southeast of Camden) for Flying Fish's new location. (Somerville is in central Jersey, northwest of New Brunswick). AKA - Exit 3 not Exit 9 in NJT Jersey-ese.
In Maryland, I love the hell out of DuClaw (Bel Air location is best IMO). To echo previous statements, Victory and Selin's Grove are awesome as well. I had a solid time at Old Forge in Danville too, some unique brews on tap there.
Keep in mind that Victory doesn't currently do tours of their brewery, but they plan to start them again once they open their new location. I'm not exactly sure how soon that will be. Still worth a stop for the food and beer of course.
