I'm visiting rehoboth beach for a weekend at the end of April and was wondering if anyone knows some good and interesting breweries in the area (besides Dogfish Head) I hear Mispillion River is good. Any others? Thanks all

I would second Burley. They are in Berlin, MD close to the beaches. There is 16 mile in Georgetown. They are not nearly as good as Misspillion and Burley but worth a shot if you are in Georgetown. 3rd wave and evolution (Salisbury,MD) are decent also.

Burley Oak is about 50 minutes away and the best one, Mispillion is 40. 16 Mile 35 minutes, are the closest three. If you are just there for the weekend, might be better use of your time to just enjoy DFH brewpub then hit up Henlopen City Oyster House, awesome beer program and great food. Dewey Beer Company is close to opening so might want to check them out, that is close and curious about their brewery operation. There should be some Burley Oak on tap in Henlopen and you can get cans of Mispillion at Atlantic. If you are coming down from NJ and can swing it though, worth a stop in at Mispillion on your way in to Rehoboth, it's right off 113 and not too far out of your way.

@dhartogs Good to hear another endorsement for Mispillion. I am going to be in Rehoboth in three weeks and will definitely be trying this place out on the way down. I had never heard of them. Thanks. I also agree with you, Henlopen is one of my favorite spots. Such a wonderful beer selection for the area with a great vibe.

@dhartogs Awesome, thanks for the detailed response. I'll definitely be hitting the DFH brewery and brewpub, and Henlopen sounds like an awesome spot. Still looking up a lot of spots, and even though Burley Oak is a bit out of the way, stopping by Mispillion is something we'll probably do on the way down.
