Hey friends, I'm running down to Tucson for a bit this afternoon-is there a standout brewery I should check out? Hopefully some spot with a great mosaic or citra IPA?

    Your best bet is Dragoon.

Dragoon is arguably best in entire state of AZ.

As someone who recently visited the area with family, I'd recommend Barrio Brewing. The pub is in a really nicely done old corrugated warehouse, solid food, and the beer list had something for everyone, including my non-craft beer mother. I believe they just won a medal at GABF.

Dragoon and Barrio. I think that Dragoon is the best in southern AZ. Really awesome taproom, but they do not serve food. There's usually a food truck parked outside to compensate for that. Barrio has solid brews and good burgers.

Barrio smelled like a sewer when I was there. I thought the food and beer were average. Next time I'm in Tucson, I'll spend more time at Dragoon drinking Lazarus

Lazarus is awesome. I'll try to visit the taproom tonight for another pour. Everyone I have spoken to who has tried Lazarus has loved it. Gotta enjoy it before it goes away.

I always recommend Pueblo Vida in downtown, especially if you like the tropical IPAs. I think they have their famous Nelson IPA back on now, it's excellent.
