Hey, I am going to visit my brother-in-law in Siesta Key April 18th-22nd and then driving to Palm Beach to see my aunt April 22nd-25th. We’re flying into Tampa and flying out of a Palm Beach. We haven’t been down in the last few years and I wanted to try and hit up some breweries. I’ve been to Cigar City, Angry Chair, and Cycle 3 years ago for Huna Day. I would like to possibly hit Angry Chair, Cycle, and Arkane on the way to Siesta, but wasn’t sure where else.

What are the best breweries in close proximity to Siesta? I saw Calusa and was probably going to go there. Are there any brewpubs/bars that have better offerings?

In regards to Palm Beach, are there any good breweries in the area? Wanted to originally hit JWB, but I think it’s going to be too far. Maybe 3 Sons?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Definitely hit Calusa you aren’t gonna find better beer than Calusa in siesta key or really anywhere. They do everything well. In West Palm hit Civil Society.

^should get you started for West Palm Beach area...

Civil Society's new location is in WPB, original location is about 20 minutes North in Jupiter. 3 Sons is about 55 miles south in Dania Beach (just south of Ft. Lauderdale airport). Wakefield is about 90 minutes south of WPB.

In between WPB and Miami you also have Odd Breed (Pompano Beach), Funky Buddha (Oakland Park), Invasive Species and Flagler Village/Brass Tap (Fort Lauderdale).

Would add that Mr. Beery's is about one mile from Siesta Key and has a solid (largely local) tap list.

Ok thanks. Everything I’ve read and seen from them looked really good. I completely forgot about Civil Society.

Thank you for the link and all of the recommendations. I’ll check that out. I actually completely forgot about Civil Society. Everything I’ve had from them was great so would love to stop by the brewery.

3 Sons should be open by then, assuming they dont keep pushing it back.

Oh, I was under the impression that they were open. I remember talking to them at Huna Day 2016 and they said that they were going to open their brewery within the year, which I know didn't happen but thought I read on their Instagram that they opened. I guess I misread it. Thanks.

While I would agree with the previous responses you've gotten about Calusa being a "can't miss" if you're in Siesta Key...

I would add Brew Life Brewing to your list. Only a couple blocks west of Calusa and the beers I've had from them have been more than solid. Typical modern "craft brewery" vibe with the cheesy video games and such. But solid beers. I wouldn't put them on par with Calusa or anything, but if you're looking for somewhere else to try a couple beers, I'd recommend them - both for proximity and quality.
