Not much comes up in my searches.
A few breweries are quite new without much feedback yet. I'll probably take a shot on them.
    Any recommendations?

Small City Taphouse is a must on all fronts: food, guest drafts, + their own tap handles. All bonkers.

Twin Oast on Catawba is worth visiting. Beer and food are solid, grounds are stunning. Just a few miles away is Catawba Island Brewing, but I haven't been there in 5 years, so no clue how they're doing.

Can confirm…went here last September and enjoyed everything. As you said, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.

Not a brewery, but Brick Oven Bistro was a nice surprise. Maybe 6-7 local/quality drafts and an extensive can/bottle list. Great pizza too!

Yeah, was there yesterday 3-4 hours for Quinstock. Like the beers at Twin Oast, and it's a great place to hang out. It wasn't my first visit there, but they usually have a nice selection of different beer styles. Still haven't made it to Catawba Island or CLAG Brewing yet, but that'll be a trip for another weekend. I'd probably go to CLAG first since we get some of the Catawba Island brews in Columbus.

So here's my report from Road Trip Sandusky:
Small City/CLAG: Food was excellent beer selection was great.
Twin Oast: Beautiful location, beer was better than expected, tried the Gose, IPA and Porter. bought 4 packs of each.
Also stopped at the Brew Kettle. White Rajah IPA was very nice.

    Thanks for the recommendations.
