    If they are selling old beer in their taproom, they don't give a shot about their beer. If they don't care, Why should you?

    That's about a true statement.

    Talk about one foot being in to the business for going under. A sure reciepe for disaster. How in the hell does a brewery even start this kind of cycle, and once started its hard to get it to stop. It's a self fulfilling prophecy bad beer being sold, sales slow down sales slow down the beer gets older. Guys buy old beer, they don't like it, they don't buy again, and the tell their friends. The beer moves slower and gets older. Sounds like NoDa with HDR.

    If your selling fresh beer and it's not selling you need to look at that beer and your efforts. It either needs to go or be changed. Nothing worse than a brewery getting a reputation for mediocre.
